Personal Website updates

I can't believe how out-of-date my personal website was. I think the last time I did a significant update to it was in 2004. So last night I went over all the pages and updated most of the content, hooked in my weblog feed, and added a CAPTCHA-guarded contact page (I have received spam before from bots that go around to websites looking for contact forms to send junk through, hence the addition of CAPTCHA, even though it's not a perfect solution).

I took down the poem I had on the homepage with the image of Pooh flying a kite - it seemed out of date somehow - and added a link to the Global Consciousness (I think it's a very neat diversion).

I also can't believe how long it's been since I've worked on my novel (the first four chapters are shown on my website, so I ran across it while updating everything). I put that project on hold to focus on one of my startup projects a few years ago that never quite got off the ground. Now I'm not sure if I want to bring it back up to full focus because I think I tend to overload myself with projects and I already have two very significant ones - the startup company I work for, and the game I run.
