Ugh ...
Wow ... it's been a while.
I've concluded that I desperately need to learn how to say no. If I could just tell people no I would have had a pleasant, quiet week.
Instead, I had three club meetings today (one before school, two at lunch) two of which I had to run, I've got an early project, I'm doing the group worksheet for our Art History seminar, and I've got to clear the way for my newspaper protegee to do her first timid interviews. I've got a draft due to the city newspaper (playing with the big boys now!) on Monday. I've got to take pictures for the school newspaper on Saturday. I have to teach the new war-gamers how to play Pirates of the Spanish Main before our next set of orders is due to the GM (Monday or Tuesday). At some point I need to see the head of the PE department to make sure I won't be mortally offending a quarter of the staff with my next article, which is due today at 4:30. I have to ask the Earth Science teacher about participating in the faculty art show by ... five minutes ago. Oh, and I owe my old English teacher an e-mail.
Why do I DO this to myself?
