Last night was just fucking awesome. Not only is Jamie the coolest EVAR, but she's also friends/coworkers with Julie K, one of the awesomest people of my Borders Past. We ended up meeting in Davis a little after nine, and grabbed some coff and went about finding food. After screwing with the hostess at Redbones, we went to Joshua Tree, which is like Soho, but with a broken air conditioner. The food was good, the beer was great, and for some strange reason good music was on overhead. We then split for Orleans, which drove the intoxication to new heights. Julie K. joined us, and we made fun of the Mayer wanna be (and it was one of the Mayer songs that caused Jamie to "have a little rain cloud on [her] breast") and eventually it all came down to rides home in various states of drunken distress.
