We must be fair and admit the classes that were taught by people who had no concept of the English language (at least 1/4 of my gen eds, it seemed) were a little troublesome every so often.

That is true, I suppose. It can be difficult to learn such subjects as deductive logic when every other word is mispronounced or used incorrectly. The classes taught by TAs who had no idea what they were doing were often a bit tricksy as well.

Most of the time, I found myself believing that the TA's were only teaching a class in order to get extra credit to help them from failing something else. Because anyone smart I knew never went on to become a TA..

It's true... probably involved in some sort of couch burnings. That would ensure an almost unlimited supply of TAs.

couch burnings and other acts of destructive violence in the student ghetto. WMU's got enough of those people to supply many universities with TAs.

My wife never did pot (to my knowledge)!! You'd think that Judith Bailey would have realized the crappiness of the artwork when she arrived and forced a change. But alas...

Maybe the entire WMU artwork experience is greatly enhanced by the usage of pot, and Judith Bailey is in on the secret..
