Pot bottoms

Jan 21, 2008 15:06

I bought a new set of All Clad pots that I'm going to be hanging up in the kitchen and I decided to keep a large pot and deep fry pan from my old set, which is stainless steel. I would like to hang those as well, but the bottoms are kinda used/gross looking with permanent looking cooking stains. Stainless my ass!

Anyway, I tried using baking soda and vinegar so far with zero success (and I scrubbed like hell). Any tips before I try oven cleaner next? It's not old food, it's just that discolored ick that older pans get.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

ETA: In case that wasn't clear, I'm referring to the outside cooking surface, not the inside. That part is fine.
