Third Despair [Video]

[More or less a very random and sudden turning on of the video. All you can really see is Haru, though, god knows why, but it's definitely Itoshiki's frequency, so--Ah! Here's his voice now!]

Haru, I've been noticing you haven't been paying attention in class

[...] Specifically, you're falling asleep.

I'd pay more attention if you'd reward me ( Read more... )

Children apparently tend to learn better from affection than discipline, though I've never had the chance to try~

He hardly qualifies as a child.

Then it'll take even more affection to help him learn~

He shouldn't; he's an adult. Adults need to learn that affection is the result of hard work, not the opposite.

If he isn't sure he'll receive affection for his work, he may not work his hardest~

I daresay embracing him once to show him what he'll be getting won't hurt. You need to discard those heavily-tinted glasses~

Then he will live in laziness and mystery.

And no.

Then you've failed your duty as a teacher~

How cold-hearted.

You can bring a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.

sukimahag November 21 2009, 19:19:29 UTC
I beg to differ~ If the horse promises to drink if you hold it, is it not easy to make it drink?

Reply

zetsubo_sensei November 21 2009, 19:27:35 UTC
First: Horses cannot promise things; they cannot talk

Second: Haru is not a horse.

Third: I'm not going to "hold" him.

This is the weirdest arguemnt ever sukimahag November 21 2009, 19:32:42 UTC
Indeed, he is not a horse, and can therefore promise things.

Therefore, the only reason he will not succeed, is because of your close-mindedness~

Ma'am, teacher-student relationships do not involve embracing one another.

((ooc; Dude, I've had some REALLY weird ones as sensei. His last post him and somebody got into an argument about the fact that nobody would want to read a graphic novel or watch a movie about him because his life is sucky and boring and horrible. I just about died when I finished it.))

Ah, so it's one of those relationships~

An embrace is surely tame then?

it's only thanks to the muns who bring these topics UP lol zetsubo_sensei November 21 2009, 20:19:02 UTC
It's completely out of bounds.

And a teacher-student relationship isn't?

Besides, boundaries exist to be played with.

Boundaries exist to be followed! Without boundaries, people would simply run amuck doing whatever they felt like doing! Men would invade the airspace of women, children would escape from their play grounds and run around aimlessly on the streets, and large women would forget that there are certain circumstances in which allows them to be unable to wear "skinny-jeans".

Not only that, there would be no boundaries on authorities! The CEO of J-corp** would be harassed by those who own stock in its company, demanding various things of him! People would slowly begin to disobey laws and begin building large sky scrapers on mouth Fuji!

and fangirls! Any man who walks by in cosplay would instantly swarm around the person and demand pictures, signatures. Even the famous male singer GACKT would be harassed endlessly and probably mauled to death ( ... )
