It's strangely amusing ...

... that the only guy who ever makes fun of me for playing dancing games is an obese 50+ year old man. :P ( Read more... )

Hahaha, nah. I've certainly thought about it, but I don't really want to argue with the guy. I already did that once, just over two years ago. It didn't solve anything.

It was like:
  • He walked in front of the screen, presumably just to piss me off
  • I said "Dude, what the hell!?" and gave up on the song
  • Five minutes later he started to do the same thing to another kid but this time, I stopped him, tossed him the ping pong ball, and said (somewhat sternly), "Don't ever walk in front of the screen while people are playing"
  • He scoffed and replied, "Yeah, and what are you going to do about it?"
  • I popped off

(This is why he doesn't like me in particular)

As an aside, the power cords started disappearing less than three months after that incident, so another reason I don't want to piss him off is because he might do something to the machine. It doesn't mean he had anything to do with it, but I'm just saying.

Anyway, in general, I know if I say anything back to him, he'll just be more of a dick to me. And as funny as it is to watch him act like that, I'd rather than exacerbate the tension any further.

i am mystified by the fact that a 50-year-old man would act like a 10-year-old on purpose all the time
