Happy Halloween!
Diane and I spent the day working with the kids on crafts and other fun things to fill in the weekend. Money has been tight lately but we have a few fun activities scheduled when they get up from their naps. First, we plan on cutting up pumpkins to decorate for Halloween. Then, we are using a Kid's Star Tile set to mix up some concrete and make hand prints for the kids. Once it's decorated and hardened, we plan on putting them out in the yard where they can seem them when they play. I think that I a more excited about it then the kids.
Alas, we won't be able to make the Halloween party tonight over at Joe and Michele's house but we plan on making it over to Steve and Cathy's place tomorrow to celebrate the birthdays for my nephew and niece. It's the first weekend in awhile where we get to just enjoy ourselves. It's been great so far.
