Time for Pictures! (and bed XD)
My Living Arrangements~
You can just ignore Khallandra's head there haha. This is the dorm/apartments (sorta) where the International Students live. With a very nice Japanese style garden that the manager was very excited to show me last night ^__^
The view from the door. 私の部屋は右です。(My room is the one on the right~)
右 を回る。これは見る。キッチンとトイレとふろを見る。 Turn to the right. This is what you see. You see the kitchen, the toilet room, and the bath. (Yes they're separate) The toilet is through the brown door, the bath/shower is through the door you can't really see, on the left.
Turn back around to face the door and voila! You'll see the little entrance way with the nice shoe holder. Don't forget to take off your shoes!
Toilet~ Now the thing about the toilet...The flusher is totally on the wrong side lol. And it has a 大/big flush and a 少/small flush XD. AND! it has it's own little sink on top! The water comes out of the faucet when you flush, and stops when the toilet stops running! I thought that was cool~
Bath/Shower. It's like all in one room. There's a drain the floor, no shower curtain. It's cool. I think the traditional Japanese way of washing is to soak in the bath, and then soap and rinse outside of the bath Ai says maybe soap and wash outside the bath and then rinse in the bath? Something like that? Haha I'm not really sure... I just shower. It's easier.
Washer and Dryer all-in-one!
<---Before
AFTER (yay! posters! <3)
part of the view from my balcony. Yup. I get my own balcony!
First shopping expedition: LAWSON. Little salt container! kawaii! and my favorite section- the magazines! <3
TV Guides. Aiba's everywhere! Lots and lots of ADORABLE tissues~ We chose ペンギンちゃn (Penguin-chan).
The fruits of our labor: Toothpaste (cuz I forgot to pack some), Green Tea from the vending machine! (which was really fun even though it's basically the same as America, just looks different), Fanta from the vending machine (for Anna), A TV Pia with adorable Aiba on the cover and more on the inside. Coffee Milk from a vending machine. I only wanted this because I've seen/heard them talk about it in dramas and stuff. I thought it would be different, but it's just cold coffee with milk lol. It's not that bad I guess. I hate coffee though. But since I didn't wanna waste my money I drank it anyway.
Ok. This was for Andrea. She wanted me to try Veggie Kit-Kats. Yes, this one is orange. The box says it's Apple & Carrot & Chocolate. It smelled weird. I ate two, they were gross. I advise AGAINST the veggie kitkats.
cute little sign along the road. It says "Kurashi no Michi," which basically (I think) means that families (mama + baby turtle) live in this neighborhood. Literally it means "Living Road/Street."
And now for some extras from the TV Pia mag. Since I don't have my scanner with me anymore, it's only a few-ish pics and they're probably not the best...
3 PAGES OF ARASHI! Not to mention the gorgeous Nino and Aiba XDD
And for a few personal favorites~
mmm move those hips XD I could not get over his face here! <3 Look how happy they are!!!
(there was a picture of Nino playing the guitar, but i guess i forgot to upload that one =( and now i'm too tired/lazy to do it...)
Oh! and I almost forgot! AIBA SUGOROKU!
September 28~
That's it for now! I'll update again after a few days probably ^__^ And...I'm out~
Jaaaa!
