BIG BANG + MIZUSHIMA HIRO!
Let me start off with saying I HATE LJ. It freakin' deleted my whole post. If you don't understand why this is frustrating, just wait. I'll re-do the post but it probably won't be as good because 1) I don't have as much time, 2) I don't have the urge to really do it anymore and 3) It's really hot out which makes me lazy and even MORE frustrated. But. Let's see what I can remember

BIG BANG
Recently I've been obsessed with Big Bang. I swore to myself I wouldn't get sucked into Kpop. I SWORE! But to no avail. My dear sister Andrea (drea_c) decides that she wants to show me this music video. So I agreed. It was Haru Haru by Big Bang. Needless to say, I fell in love! GD and TOP were so gorgeous and hot and sexy in that video! They did a great job. I watched it over and over and over. And then my obsession started, very similar to the start of my Arashi obsession though not as in depth. Because I loved this video so much (and their looks XD) I went to Wikipedia and started learning their names. It took me no time at all, which is weird because I STILL can't tell DBSK apart no matter HOW many times my sister tries to teach me!

HARU HARU!
Some Positive Points of BB:
- ALL of them are gorgeous
- They sing in 3 languages --> Korean (obvs), JAPANESE (which is awesome), and ENGLISH! (which is even more awesome). And not just parts of songs, I'm talking FULL songs here. And you know how sometimes foreigners singing in English don't make much sense or you can't understand them? Well these guys are wonderful. Their english is superb enough that you understand just about EVERY word! I mean sure the accent can get in the way sometimes, but once you figure out what they're saying it's super easy to hear it XD
- They can dance
- They can sing
- They're funny
- They're ALL in my age range!! (18-21)
- Did I mention they're gorgeous?
Let's continue with an introduction post for those of you who are not familiar with the awesomeness of Big Bang:
G-Dragon/GD/Bong/Kwon Ji-yong:
Leader Kwon. He was my first favorite, based on looks from Haru Haru MV...He's gorgeous. He raps, He sings. He can dance. He writes songs in Korean, Japanese, and English. He's really good with his English, not so good with speaking Japanese (but he can understand it!) And even though he can be somewhat on the feminine side sometimes, I still think he's hot. Not to mention the tattoos he has XD
TOP/Tempo/Choi Seung-Hyun:
Also gorgeous. Also one of my faves because of Haru Haru. He raps but doesn't sing, which sometimes stands out because while all the others are singing and dancing he's just sorta going along with it. But it doesn't mean I don't love him. His voice is so deep and soothing. I love listening to it and I try to learn all of his raps (his English ones anyway lol). He's weird but in a funny, doesn't bother me one bit sort of way. He almost always wears the weird sunglasses and gloves and high neck jacket thing (at least recently).
Tae-yang/Sol/Dong Young-bae:
There's one word that best describes TY. SEXY. Sexy body, Sexy moves. Now, that doesn't mean that he's my favorite. Looks aren't everything right? XD. But seriously. This guy can MOVE! And he's got the ABS to prove it. *dies* His voice is amazing, his dancing is amazing. And he probably knows it. He almost always wears some sort of cap over his loverly mohawk hair. I have this thing for arms, and TY has amazing arms. Nice and muscly with the right amount of vein-age to be seen and whatnot. I have an even BIGGER thing for hair...which he doesn't have XD. Still love him though!
Daesung/D-Lite/Kang Dae-sung:
I didn't pay much attention to Daesung at first. Probably because I was so obsessed with TOP and GD. But I have come to realize that he is definitely the Aiba of Big Bang. He's always smiling yet has an awesome, distinct voice. He can be sexy when he wants. He's pretty fluent in Japanese which is always cool. He sings a lot in the new single Gara Gara Go! and Top of the World. He sounds SO good in these songs. I listen to them a lot. I just love his voice XD. It's hard to find pictures of him where he's not smiling. Believe me I tried. Not counting of course the sexy hot gorgeous serious group photo shoots.
Seungri/V.I./Lee Seung-hyun:
He was another one that I kind of ignored at first. Again due to the obsession with TOP and GD in Haru Haru. But boy did that change. I LOVE HIM! Everything I watch about Big Bang, Interviews I read etc, make me love him even more. I can't help it! It all started with the performance of my current favorite English song of theirs: Make Love. SEE BELOW. His English is so good! The way he looks is perfect. And then I go ahead and watch the MV of his solo Strong Baby. O.M.G. *dies just thinking about it* Perez Hilton even mentions it! CLICKY! It's so hot and steamy and O.O But I love it. Oh. and did I mention that he's only 18?! He's technically only a year younger than me (I'm 1989 he's 1990) but his birthday isn't until December so...yeah. But WHO CARES? Look at him! *dies again* He gets an extra picture or two because he's my Ichiban. (dunno how to say that in Korean...)
MAKE LOVE (I put the one with the subs just in case...but you may or may not need them)
So that's that. Now here are some specifics about Big Bang as a whole that I love. First off. They do parodies! They did a Boys Over Flowers parody (my FAVE JDrama of all time...not just because of Jun, I swear!), Coffee Prince (one of my fave KDramas), and Virus (as in Beethoven's Virus). These are definite must sees if you're a fan of the dramas. HILARIOUS. They ALSO did a Grease Musical thing with WonderGirls (who are opening for the Jonas Brothers btw). Big Bang was also in this show thing where they were "superheroes." Seungri and GD got transformed into "directors" and "directed" this superhero video. It's really hilarious. And at the end it's soooo touching. I actually got goosebumps but that could have been because I was tired and it was night time and maybe I was cold? XD It's a definite must see if you haven't seen it already. (and it made me fall even more in love with Seungri for some reason...)
So that's about it for my flailing Big Bang post. It's definitely cut short because it's way too long already and I haven't even included the other stuff yet!
MIZUSHIMA HIRO
Yeah. Basically I love him. I first saw him in Hana Kimi way back in March 2008. I had no idea who he was of course. I was just watching because I read the manga. One of my best friends kept telling me how hot she thought Sano (Oguri Shun) was. I didn't see it, all I could see was his concave chest (sorry Shun fans! I still love him!). So I told her how hot I thought Nanba Minami (Mizushima Hiro) was. She didn't see it. We compromised and agreed that Nakatsu (Ikuta Toma) was extremely good looking. I guess it was fate way back then that I would like him huh? Too bad he's married. Lucky Ayaka.
My sister made me watch Mei-chan no Shitsuji recently. OMG! I want a butler like Mizushima Hiro! The way he speaks, the way he acts, everything! I think I would faint every time he did something for me. And just finished watching Absolute Boyfriend. It was pretty good. Hiro was excellent. I SO wanted the two of them to get together. I haven't watched the SP yet so no spoilers please!
My friend Lindsay recently brought to my attention that he looks very similar to Matsujun. Perhaps my subconsciousness realized this and brought us together? XD. And honestly I have to say I agree. I saw this GIF posted by karasu_0 and totally thought it was Mizushima at first. But alas it is not. It is, in fact, Jun-kun. And did I mention he's fluent in English? I love when foreigners speak English. I wonder why...

I have a bunch of mags to catch up scanning, and I'm going to New York City on Wednesday to get more! I promise I will try my best to scan these ASAP! I've just been so busy with work and RL lately. Plus trying to make sure I see my friends before I disappear to Japan for a year XD.
