Lol, it's a nickname, my full name's Lauren, but that bores me at times :)
I've got an aunt named Jamie, I always liked that name. She's one of my favorite aunts..

Well its a cool nickname. I don't have any nicknames so I'm forced to adopt my own. For example the one I use online pretty much everywhere is Skzyp, and here I am obviously zestywithaz...but I'd like other ones. 'Joker' would be nice once in a while or maybe 'bones' cause he was the doc on the original star trek and he was freakin awesome.

I'm rambling...

I don't know anyone else named Jamie. Glad to hear that you actually have fond associations with the name, means you won't cringe everytime you hear it. :D Good thing its not the name of something bad.

When I think of the name Ren I think of Ren & Stimpy, which is a good thing. Although I seriously doubt you are anything like the character Ren. A high strung, neurotic, controlling chihuahua. You aren't are you? Lol, just kidding.

I don't know anyone named Lauren, well I didn't until now. And I don't think its boring. :)

Heh, I've had all manner of crazy nicknames over the years, from Cookie to Blue, and my brother calls me Counselor because he says I'm a law buff. (And yes, my family is a bit strange..)

Rambling's fine with me, I do it all the time :)

Well, yeah, good memories. My aunt doesn't live anywhere near us now, so I haven't seen her in a long time :(

*grin* I remember that show, it was funny. Hmm, well every once in a while I'm a bit high-strung, but I try to stay away from neurotic and controlling.. Mostly. Lol :P

Cookie? Blue? :) Thats cool, and kind of funny. I call my sister pilgrim and I don't know why. I also call her "sister katherine". Her name is Katie.

Well I don't know lots of Laurens so you are unique in my book! And if you really wanted to you could rename yourself one day.

Thats a good question...if you could have named yourself what would you name yourself?
