(no subject)
so to update every1. everythings been a bit hectic lately. i'm trying to keep up with my grades, they seem to be slipping again, okay that was an exaggeration. my u.s history grade is dropping cuz my teacher has a really wacked out way of grading. so i need to pick that grade up in the next 2 weeks. SO my twirling team and i (m.pac flashbacks) were going to try to qualify for junior olympics. the qualifying competition was in massetchusettes this past sunday. and we all attended. all decked out in our new uniforms and matching make-up. we were very nervous if we wuld qualify or not. we have a lot of new girls on our team, at least 3 have never twirled b4 and the others have only twirled for 3 years or so, which doesnt exactly match up to me,lisa,amanda,and susie who have been twirling for 9-11 years. the first time on the floor was HORRIBLE! i dropped everything!!! it was pretty mortifying. but then me and my small team (lisa,amanda,tori,and susie) went up and rocked the shit out of that floor! 7 drops all together! A-FUKIN-MAZING! we all smiled non-stop and caught our fukin circle pass in which we got a nice reaction from the crowd. Jay and Matt, susie and mandas boyfriends, were there. Dave was missed quite a bit but hes coming to my competition next weekend so we'll have all the boys there. jay and matt were our cheerleaders. they criticized us, helped us, and cheered us on. long story short me and my whole flashback team qualified for junior olympics!!! it was such a relief! so on july 29th its off to virginia beach!!! jay,matt,and dave will most likely be coming with us. the competition started at 8:30 but cheryl wanted us all to be up by 4 and ready to go by 5:00 or so. that in itself was exhausting! then after the comp. me, the 2 amandas, jay, matt, susie, lisa, myself, our coach cheryl, and aunt kathy went to friendlys. we played a prank on cheryl and told the waitress it was cheryls birthday and for her to bring cheryl out a cake and have the staff sing happy birthday to her. i got in on video on my phone. but cheryl got me lisa and amanda back by making us stay for the awards which meant staying in springfield till like 6:30. we got 5 trophies and the certificate to verify that we are on our way to junior olympics. the car ride home was fun, we listend to Brian Reegan (my fav. comedian) and songs from wayyyy back when. all in all i am exteremly proud of the Flashback Team and very happy and relived that we made it thus far. an announcment was made monday morning to congratulate the team and the South East Sensations, whom we became friends with and a male twirler. yes A MALE TWIRLER! hes an awesome kid too! and remember my girls, "chicks with sticks fly together!" or rather "togeter" hehehehe!
