My friend Hughes got orders... its orders to well, guam but orders nonetheless. I was here over a year more than him... which is interesting on why I did not get it. Not sure if I dodged a curveball on this or not... San Antonio is pretty sucky.. Guam would atleast be different. From what I understand Guam is barely a step up to Lackland, but a step up nonetheless. Supposedly horribly corrupt civilian sector outside base area and the area is pretty darn remote / only thing that shines is supposedly awesome as fudge snorkling. Aside from that.. who knows.. don't even get a follow on from there anymore as its a 2 year assignment now too. Bummer.
