I gots me some stuffs to kill
So.. I got dragged into Age Of Conan because bunch of my peeps back home went all into it so its my chance to get back into a game with literally everyone... well except Josh since he's too busy being consumed by women (as always!... in the name of Charlie Brown I say good grief!). At first I was skeptical.. especially the fact that I'm on a server that free roams PvP but....
AGE OF CONAN IS FREAKIN AWESOME! F Warhammer Online.. like seriously. It might still be a good game when it comes out but this game certaintly delivers everything I wanted.
PROS.. Bro's!
1. It's got lots and lots of blood (Warhammer decided to go the other route)
2. Decapitations.. hello? Hells yes to fatality moves. Gives PvP spunk.. and Zazz!
3. Kickass graphics.. best in a MMO ever. (Eat that Warhammer)
4. Pretty damn big "Feat" trees.. which I'm just gonna call talent trees because its like the same thing except larger and more specialized
5. Player made cities and forts
6. Castle sieging and AI assaults on player made cities
7. HUGE.. tracts of land! (Inquire for further clarification)
8. Realistic sounds and badass music by far
9. The AH, Bank, and Mailbox is all one NPC
10. Everyone and everything looks angry and wants to kill stuff.. and upon death you don't lose gear! WOOT!
CONS.. Mon?
1. The AH, Bank, and Mailbox NPC is currently not working :(
2. The term "Kill Stuff" never needs to be said
3. I can be killed almost anywhere because of Tommys dumbass server (You can pick normal servers though where PvP is only in the PvP games and the sieging areas)
4. The UI is kinda gimp, especially since way more buttons are required to play this game. However, I recently just fixed this with GUI add-on mod. Go me.
5. I have to look at Tommy's fur loincloth everyday since, and I quote, "Can't find anything better". (POSSIBLE PRO) At least his sandles match it?
All in all it rules and the launch is bring known as one of the best ever for an MMO and it already has crap ton of players. Just like when WoW released, they needed to go and buy new servers asap upon release and as such they made 9 new ones. I like to kill stuff and things are going gravey even if I can be jacked. Funny thing is though, maybe its because I specced right or possibly I'm just badass (Duh) I have never lost a one-on-one fight, even if I was ambushed. It's pretty damn sad really, even people 4-7 lvls higher than me have been creamed by me. The funniest part is like, when they jump you right? And then you whoop their ass REAL bad.. and then.. THEY run? WTF kind of ganker is that? *shrug*
BTW.. for those of you out there who have not yet seen Welcome to the NHK... do it already dammit! You sicken me!
