Irony.

So I haven't updated this journal in *forever* because of my research. So when am I updating it?

20 minutes before I have to start giving presentations. :)

Life has been pretty-much following the same course since I last wrote. Some ups, some downs, but overall pretty steady. Between my brother visiting and my parents going with APPNA to Greece and Turkey, I had to go to airports every weekend for a month. Normally not a problem, but it was usually JFK or Newark (which sucks when you live in Baltimore). Add to that the deadline of having to get these posters done today and we've got the formula for being swamped.

Not that I was. My Warcraft time has fruited into an enjoyable pass-time that I pass far too much time on. Ah well. And right now, the 2nd year and 3rd year on the research team are quietly muttering something about my work. Ah well. And yes, I can finally say it's my work. The funniest thing to me was when Psycofriz asked why I was doing the posters if I wasn't first author. I laughed, and hoped that somehow I would be vindicated for all my work.

So yeah, today is the Maryland Regional meeting of the American College of Physicians. A lot of posters from the surrounding environment are presented here. I just hope I can tread water here, so that I can see a future for my work.

God, I'm really nervous.

Okay, I should go and get ready or something... sigh
