(no subject)
Just finished 2k of plotting/dialogue for that Fang/Lightning fic for Logos. I'm pretty happy with the idea (no angst yay *kicks SWHN and a lot of other fic ideas where it hurts*) and eager to flesh it out. It's a fic along the lines of Worst Birthday Ever, kinda worried it's a little too similar, but other than that I'm looking forward to actually writing it.
SWHN-11 is under construction, as planned, a scene or two needs to be knocked around a bit but should be a fairly straight-forward matter. The, uh, follow-up for AO3 is still languishing in a troubling fashion, I may have to slice the first part off since if I'm not interested or engaged, any reader certainly wouldn't be. I like the concept though.

All this progress, man. Turning my wifi off does wonders, gotta say.
Liv just asked if we can marathon the anime Burst Angel. She clearly has no idea of what she's asking, lol. I can sum up that anime in three words. Explosions. Damsels. Boobs. That anime has no substance at all, but I can't help but love it for all its cheesy bad glory.
That and Meg/Jo is adorable don't hurt me
...and also Code Geass too! She is like on a roll with the anime-catch-up list. This almost makes up for the following text exchange;
Me: This fic is lol
Liv: What are you reading?
Me: No, it's one I am writing XD
Liv: ... Oh Dear.
Me: What?!
Liv: I just got that creeping sensation of doom.
Clearly someone has no faith, haha. I don't think she trusts me, not after all these years of 'watching [you] take interesting and fun characters and melting them'. I think if I say a fic is lol or fun to write, she must wonder, "what are you doing to my favourite characters you abusive monster!!!!!"
I clearly have some not-so-latent hurt/comfort obsession.
Anyone else have weird themes that seem to always crop up in their fics?
