colour is it's own reward

The frustration of the last 3 days can’t be overstated. My shitty arts pc, despite being dedicated to just Vue and photoshop can’t cope with the amount of information in the picture and simply wont render a final copy of the landscape. 17% complete and then stall. Even a compromise simplified version only gets 30% or so before failing. Choices now are to either give up entirely and move on, or buy a better spec pc. Doing that would "force" me to continue the 3D project into next year to justify the expense - thus stalling the writing I planned to do. Upside being that since I’ll have a little freetime leeway by then and I’m getting used to thinking in colour again I might also embark on an actual 2D canvass as a compliment. Scary.

The antidote to my burgeoning hatred of 3D graphics came from Pixar. I bought and watched "Monsters Inc." which made me laugh so hard my face still hurts - and also (more surprisingly) was so touching that I cried and cried like an open tap.
