Totally random, but there was a metaquotes talking about the California fires. I was reading the comments and someone observed that Vermont could be dropped in the middle of California and no one would notice because it was so small in comparison.

I've lived in Maryland my whole life. It is small and compact, and God help me, I like it that way. I might have ( Read more... )

XD you'd be boogled at the sheer size of the Outback then - home of the Dropbears and some the most dangerous [SRSLY!] creatures in the world. 8D!

I like wilderness area, really, but after a couple days I go "MY KINGDOM FOR A STRIP MALL". I might not even go shopping. I just need to see it. *laughs*

As a native Texan, I have to say... I completely agree with you. I never get to go anywhere because everything is so damn far away! Well, anything interesting anyways. And Walmart's about 20 minutes or so away.

And I'll stop here before I really get going. You'd be surprised how long I can complain about the size of Texas.

And you live in Maryland? Lucky! I'd love to live there (even looked at apartment listings once) but decided it was too expensive.

Also, I've often wondered how many Marylands would fit in Texas. I'm too lazy to do the math though.

I was in the San Antonio area whilst in Texas. My friend's grandparents lived near this town called Bandera. By near, they meant 45 minutes away. I fail to see how that constitutes as near.

Maryland is somehow the most expensive state to live in. I don't know how the hell it can do that, but, unfortunately... It's why I haven't moved out of my parents' house yet. I could afford an apartment attached to a home, but I'd never be able to afford basic necessities like food. However, I am always on the hunt for a roommate to help split costs, so if you do find yourself out Maryland way, hike on up to where I live. *laughs*

Yeah...too much math, but lets go with a whole bunch.

... I live 20 minutes from San Antonio. WE COULD HAVE MET EACH OTHER! *cries*

With the way things are right now, I don't think I could afford Maryland, even with a roommate. *is sad* Maybe in a year or two...

Doesn't that just figure? There was totally, like, two days where I had aboslutely nothing to do.

I hear ya on the monetary thing. Well, the offer's there.
