Oh. My. God.
I have three hours left at work. I'm going to freaking kill someone. We've had one customer in the past hour, and I know it's only going to get worse from here. There's no reason we should be open until 7. We don't get enough traffic for it. Hell, we don't get enough traffic to be open until 6. I love Pikesville's hours. Mon - Wed 9-2, Thurs 9-6, Fri 9-4 and Sat 10-1. Those should be our hours and we might just get enough customers to make it worthwhile.
I fully intend on pulling out my notebook, though, after a few key people leave so I can start seriously considering this little plot thing I thought up at lunch. Won't tell. Can't make me. >D
I've got a pretty full day planned tomorrow. Helping my friends Charlene and Curtis pack up their lives since they're moving all the way to California. (I wish they all could be California giiiiiirls) Doing that in the morning, and then going to pick up Kelly from work at 3. We're gonna bounce down to Columbia to go to the Apple store and do some shopping. Like we do. I swear to Primus, I never shopped until I started hanging out with Kelly. Now every weekend I'm freakin "Let's go to the mall!" (I don't know if anyone on my f-list watches How I Met Your Mother, but you might get that if you do. If you don't, go forth and do it now.) So, mall crawling with the money I won at Bingo last night. XD Won $70 sucka. Then we're gonna go see Race to Witch Mountain. We both love the old one, so we're skeptical about a new one, but, c'mon, it's The Rock. Oh, pardon, Dwayne Johnson.
I bought the new Waspinator toy the other day. Honestly, I'm not wholly impressed. I really wish they would come out with his Cybertron form, but I guess chances of that are slim. His transformation is ridiculously easy. His are...really tiny, I guess, and I feel like I'm gonna break them. Half of one kept falling off too. And he seems really disproportionate. He's all torso and no leg. I guess it kinda works, since I'm not too impressed with my Bee toy either. So they're a match made in weirdness?
I think I'm going to have to cave and get BlackArachnia too. I wasn't going to, because I'm just not that fond of her, but
agiftedmind talks about her and Arcee all the time, and they've totally invaded my brain space. It doesn't help that Smokey looks down from his shelf and goes "Sure! The more femmes the merrier!" And when I try to tell him that if I do get her, she's probably going to want Arcee, he doesn't seem to listen. He informs me that he lets the girls play together as long as he gets to watch. (Didn't need to know that, Smokey dear.) Course, I don't really know how he got Fracture and Arcee to pay attention to him in the first place, so his weird charm might work on BA too? It's like an experiment or something.
In other news, my car is being a bitch. The Beast goes through PMS, I swear to Primus, like every other female. This month her temperature guage was going all funky again, cuz Dad hasn't given her any antifreeze recently. Fixed that last night, though, so she was a little less cranky this morning. She's been pitching a fit about moving in the morning too. I think the old girl needs a tune up, but we'll see.
I'm still trying to get a new car. The Beast has been a great car even with her issues, but it's time for something new. But the stupid dealership that I'm trying to buy a car through will not give me a loan! They keep telling me how bad they want to sell me a car, but then they won't lend me the money to do it! It's starting to really piss me off. I'm gonna wait a couple of months and try again. Hopefully things will start looking up by then economy-wise. Apparently I'm not the only one they aren't lending money to. It's just frustrating, because they keep saying how bad the car industry is doing, but they won't lend out the money for people to buy cars. Not gonna get much fixed that way, ya'll. Worst part is my dad keeps talking about in the summer if the family business gets better going out and buying his Challenger. I mean, he needs a new car worse than I do, that's not the issue. He's just talking about taking $35K cash up to the dealership and driving off in a shiny new Challenger! I know he'd buy my car for me if he could and if I needed it, but I don't really need it and he really can't right now. Plus, I kinda want to be able to do it on my own, you know? Build up some more credit history and whatnot. And it would really be MY car at that point.
One day, Zerox, I will own you. I promise.
Okay, I've wasted about an hour typing this between web surfing. So that's good. Oh, and I just had a customer too, so it's been a for real hour now. Woo hoo and stuff.
*ded from boredom*
