Title: Remembrance
Character(s): Sehun and Luhan
Rating: PG13 (??)
Summary: Remembrance is followed by rain, the raindrops that fall from your eyes as you weep.
Luhan glances out of the window and watches as the raindrops slide their way down the smooth surface of the glass.
Luhan watches, and he remembers.
He remembers how they used to sit, side by side, watching the rain outside their window. He remembers how they would stay by each other’s’ side quietly, neither saying anything and both comfortable with the silence. He remembers how they would intertwine their fingers, their hands seemingly made for each other as they mold into one. He remembers how they would glance at each other secretly, then blush and smile shyly when they were caught. He remembers how his body felt under his, hot and sweaty, panting and moaning. He remembers how they loved each other, and how that love has disappeared along with him.
Luhan remembers, and he weeps.
He weeps as the memories flood back. He weeps like the sky outside. He weeps, missing the warmth Sehun once provided for him. He weeps as he thinks back to the time when he tried coping without Sehun but failed. He weeps as he thinks about how he failed to pick himself up, to move on. He weeps, like all the other previous nights huddled under a blanket. He weeps as he tries to picture the young boy’s smile but fails. He weeps as he realizes his memory has failed him; too much time has passed and his memory of Sehun was growing weaker. He weeps as he thinks of how he failed his promise to Sehun, his promise that he wouldn't cry. He weeps as he remembers how he’ll never see Sehun again, because his lover from the past isn’t in the same realm as him anymore.
Luhan weeps, and he doesn’t stop.
