As usual, I went to Crappy Tire with the intention of spending about 10 minutes and $15 on a collapsible shovel. 40 minutes and $67 later, I walked out with said shovel, stovetop burner liners, heavy-duty tin snips, a kneeling pad, 3 cookie sheets and a 26-piece food container set. In addition, I was asked to donate $2 to Heart & Stroke, which I did. As I was gathering up my stuff, I heard the cashier ask the guy behind me if he'd like to do the same, to which he replied; "I'd rather make my own donation". She responded with; "Okay, that's fine", which is fair enough. Then he continued; "...than go through the corporate blackmail."
WOW! Tell us how you really feel, buddy!
Now if that's his prerogative, fine. But holy crap, no need to lash out at the poor woman who probably makes minimum wage and has absolutely NO control over anything in the company. Seriously guy, save your bitterness for someone who can do something about it. I'll bet he bitches when they ask him if he wants his burger combo upsized too.
Laundry time. Back later.
