It wasn't until sometime Wednesday afternoon that I realized I didn't have my wallet. I didn't go anywhere on Tuesday, which led me back to Monday...the last place I remembered having it was at lunch with Lane at Joe Dog's. So we went back, waited for an inordinate amount of time for them to look around, and finally got my wallet back. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, somebody decided to avail me of the $40 that was in it. I guess the lesson is to always keep VERY close tabs on your wallet, and not leave it at a restaurant like an idiot.
Other than that, it's been job hunting and Mortal Kombat. I'm hoping that Stas' good luck rubs off on me and I find something soon as well. I've already had two potentials go bust. If you have a job in Thornhill, the ad should NOT say MILTON. And what kind of warehouse only has afternoon shifts? I almost understand the inventory spot being overnight, but still...
And the week's big shocker is Anna Nicole Smith's death. Remember when she was young and beautiful; before the drugs, yo-yoing weight and plastic surgery; when nobody realized she was both dumb AND crazy? It's kinda sad when you think about it like that.
Wedding stuff: we have the invitations pretty much ready, and finally locked in the photographer. All that's left now are details, which I'm not sweating over. Nicole, of course, is in panic mode over the details. I'm more concerned about finding a place to work.
