FMA Update

I got some more information on the new Fullmetal Alchemist series, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood:

"Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood starts the story back to the beginning of Ed and Al’s adventures where they set out to restore their bodies and make up for their mistakes. But why start over you ask? Well, this time around the storyline will be following much closer to manga.

Character Voice Changes
You can be glad to hear that the same voice actors for Ed (Romi Paku) and Al (Rie Kugimiya) are returning in the Japanese version! Unfortunately there have been many other character voice changes (in fact some voice actors actually switched characters), but we’ll see how it turns out. Here’s the voice actor cast for the Japanese version of the upcoming series:

Romi Paku as Edward Elric
Rie Kugimiya as Alphonse Elric
Megumi Takamoto as Winry Rockbell
Shinichiro Miki as Roy Mustang (Doesn't seem to fit as I recognized him as as the seiyuu for Lockon, though Mustang sounds nice)
Fumiko Orikasa as Riza Hawkeye
Kenji Utsumi as Alex Louis Armstrong (WU HAHAHA!!! Same seiyuu this time around.)
Keiji Fujiwara as Maes Hughes
Yuji Ueda as Jean Havoc
Kenji Hamada as Vato Falman
Kaori Nazuka as Maria Ross
Hidekatsu Shibata as King Bradley
Kenta Miyake as Scar
Kikuko Inoue as Lust
Tetsu Shiratori as Gluttony
Minami Takayama as Envy
Hiroyuki Yoshino as Kimblee
Kouichi Yamadera as Isaac"

If you go on to compare the old seiyuu with the new ones for this series, you'll maybe pleased.
FMA vs. FMA: Brotherhood

After watching the first episode, I was mildly pleased. The series started off with a bunch of action and cutesy'funny bits. It really does feel like it has a manga-feel to it now.

Best moments were when Hughes was with the family, hugging his daughter. Sooooo f-ing  cute.
