It's been about one year since I last built my last Gundam model that I got from ACen 2008. Now that ACen 2009 is rearing is head just around the corner, I'm in the midst of some kind of sick deprivation sickness from not having built a Gunpla in the past year. Gundam 00 ended last week in an absolutely amazing finale just filled to the top with symbolism. All in all, the second season was created to milk the money out of Gundam fans every where. Bandai is basically releasing several versions of the same product every month. The only changes seen is the
addition of a new gimmick or color scheme. It almost seems as if Gundam 00 was a marketing scheme cooked up by them.
Even though there are a number of variations to the same type of model kit, I feel compelled to buy all of them most of the 00 Gundam and Exia kits. I'm in need of more cash for the upcomming convention since I'll be purchasing a couple kits hopefully, as well as more Tamiya modeling tools (800, nippers, craft knife) as well as a couple cans of spray paint and primer for the kits. The supplies will probably equal the amount of an entire MG kit, so that maybe a loss for me. >.<
Looking at Ngee Khiong, Fudoushin, and Danny Choo is not helping me at all. Its all eyecandy for me. Yet I wonder how they all can afford a ton of kits every single month. I need a new job soon. Need more money to help fund my ACen needs. *sigh*

Oh god. Look at that list. I'm going to blow a ton of money for that. Though it will keep me busy for about a month in the summer. Surprisingly all those kits are relatively new releases that hopefully will be on sale at the convention. Otherwise I'll be buying them from HLJ online. Looks like the only kit on the list that isn't from 00 is the the MG Sword Impulse from SEED Destiny. I must say, that is the probably the 3rd best designed mecha in Destiny (Top positions go to the Strike Freedom and the Destiny Gundam).
I'll end this post now before I start to think about the other kits I should purchase, but I should make a plan for the year on which kits to build. I want to actually have a couple I want to buld this year. Maybe get a nice display case for cheap from Ikea too.
