OKAY SO, everyone was doing this meme, i wanted to be cool too. actually i mostly just wanted to update.)
You know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

Halisa. umm... well my mom wanted me to be named 'haley' and my dad wanted me to be named 'disa'. i think that's how you spell it... but they just combined it into something that sounded like a name, idek.
AGE
18. whaaaaat i don't feel eighteen but i'll be 19 in February.
LOCATION
right now i'm in Olympia Washington. i'll probably move to portland or seattle.. or vancouvar next year though for school.
i like the nw coast.
OCCUPATION
student right now. once i get a car though i'll be job searching, haha.
PARTNER
i'm kind of scared of relationships actually, and i'm just also generally uninterested in most people. i have an art wife though and she makes my crappy days seem not so bad. i don't know how she does it.
KIDS
i think the best way to prevent teen pregnancy is to grow up having to take care of four younger siblings your whole life. even today i have to help get the younger ones to bed and help make dinner and .... yeah. i don't want to have to do this again for a looonnnggg time. kids are great and all, but i've had enough of them to last a long time. 8l if i ever do have them it won't be for a while, haha.
BROTHERS/SISTERS
as you may have guessed, i have siblings! four of them. all younger than me. Coby is the youngest, at 6 years old, Julia is 7, Valea is 12, and Gabe is going to be 16 this friday. and they all have nicknames. Moose, Baby J, V-mo, and Slug. i'm not going to explain them though, haha. anyway, i get along pretty well with gabe and valea now, but the younger ones... i can only be around them so much. haha. their life is easier than mine was when i was growing up at their age, so they're a lot brattier than me. i had to grow up really fast, and i have a hard time not pushing my values on them or making them see what is right and what is wrong. stuff like that. you know. but i'm slowly getting valea into stuff i'm into. we watch old musicals and movies together and i lend her a lot of my books and she likes a lot of my music. she watches me play a lot of video games too, so we have a lot of inside jokes and just have a lot of stuff we can laugh about. my aunt is also like a big sister to me. Haila is four years older than me, so she's not really like an aunt. we're kind of like bffs that say the same things at the same time, and get what each other is saying without explaining or saying much and can finish each other's sentences. we tell each other just about everything, and we like a lot of the same things. so if you've talked to me a few times and i've mentioned my aunt then.. yeah this is who i'm talking about.
PETS
right now i just have my dog, Domino Jackson. his name was twinkle toes jackson when i bought him, but i've always liked the name domino for a dog, idk. he's a little guy. i think i have a picture of him somewhere on my computer...
there he is! he barks at everything. i am going to miss him when i move out.
i used to have a few beta fish too. i had one my ex gave me a long time ago. he named him guss. and then when guss died, i bought a female one and named her tear after a character from tales of the abyss, hahaha. OTL
THREE TO FIVE THINGS GOING ON IN MY LIFE
*school/ college
*trying to get my license and looking for a good car
*deciding which school to transfer to and where
*trying to draw more, find a style i'm more comfortable with... well actually that's the story of my life but OH WELL
*possibly moving with a few friends to an apartment somewhere near by in january. idk how to feel about this.
also, video games.
PARENTS
my mom is pretty cool, but you know.... sometimes she can just be really weird. 8l we get a long really well but she just thinks some really weird things are funny, and she has trouble communicating to certain people so then she is just angry for no reason. i guess that's how most moms are though right? 8/
my dad is cool too. he knows everyone. we can be ANYWHERE and he will know someone there. some cousin or someone who knows a cousin. he used to dance at powwows a lot, but not so much anymore. we're not on the road as much as we used to be, and we haven't had time to go to one in a while. he's nez perce and he has a lot of books on the language and he would teach us some of the words when we were little and use them on us. like, for "good morning", or "that's bad", or "thank you", etc. my mom is skokomish and chehalis, but we never really learned any of that language. only how to say 'grandpa' and 'grandma', who both live with us by the way. so i guess they count as parents too. they teach at the evergreen state college.
CLOSE FRIENDS
well, for IRL friends, there's Toeri, who i feel like i can talk about almost anything to. she just has this really bright and sunny aura about her that attracts a lot of people, so she knows a lot of people and has a lot of friends. we are like BFFs and we have dumb cosplay adventures together, shuttup. also her dad is pretty cool. she's like one of the few IRL gamer friends i have.
then there's Amoa. i met her at lunch my junior year i think. we just kind of clicked because we agreed on so many things. and the things we don't agree on we work out, being the agreeable people we are.
and then there's Trillian. we like to nerd out together and make fun of things. also, we like food a lot, so we get along famously. she has really awesome taste in every dang thing you could think of. and she knows a lot of awesome people. we like to have cooking adventures in her crazy kitchen. she's seen like every single funny video you could think of.
and then there's haila but i already told you about her. we are both video game nerds and play xboxlive like all the time, the end.

Sarah (Rianale). sarah. sarah where do i even begin. you are the simon to my kamina. you are the... well we will be bros to the very end. i remember meeting you through samm and it was the start of something beautiful. we don't talk as much as we used to but we get along and can talk for just as long as we did back then. this is a very good thing.
and of course grimmjizzle. she makes me laugh, she makes me cry, she makes me blush, she makes me... a lot of things. i love talking to her and i really hope we can stay friends for a long time. i can't remember how we became friends, but she's one of the neatest people i know. if she's happy. i'm happy. if she's sad. i'm sad. if i had the means or the time, i would do just about anything for her. she always has something interesting to say, so it intimidates me a bit because i never do. but we deal somehow, haha.

AS FOR A LIFE UPDATE, i'm back from my trip to idaho for that funeral/memorial/give away/powwow anyway. my uncle chaske was in the new moon movie, so we, being all his relatives and family members, went to go see it together. we cheered every time he was on screen, haha. man i almost fell asleep though, it was so quiet and dull most of the time. there was a before and after party though where they had food, so that was fun. and chaske's dad was there to thank every one. we all got shirts too. they say "i run with the pack." and at the bottom "team sam uley". haha. and it was a big outline of a wolf. and now i don't really like the twilight series... but you have to admit that's pretty cool.
but man i'm glad to be back. the pass was really windy and snowy and we were at a dead stop for like two hours. not fun at all. it was really nice seeing all my relatives over there though. indian humor can really cheer you up. and we had some really awesome frybread and indian tacos while i was down there too, fffffff. and salmon.... we went to sharp's too. which is like, the best burger place ever. oh my god i would get so fat if i still lived over there.

also i will probably look back on this tomorrow and cringe. i'm too tired to really care what i just wrote right now so alskdfhsdlk hopefully it's not too retarded and i don't embarrass myself too much.
