Strong language alert! Since I broke last week's total, we've decided to institute a nickel F***-jar. I put in $1.40 today. (That's 28 transgressions, just in case you were wondering.)
I always get "Afternoon Delight" stuck in my head whenever I try to remember how "Sunglasses At Night" goes, because the titles rhyme. It's very strange. I've been humming it since yesterday.
I don't know. How can you not embrace this? It's about fishing! And bait! And slow, lazy, afternoons... of... smutting.
Started out this morning feeling so polite I always thought a fish could not be caught who wouldn't bite But you've got some bait a waitin' and I think I might try nibbling a little afternoon delight.
Darn you! Between that and Canadian Forces Network Radio, that song is going to be stuck in my head for the rest of my life.
Although if you squinted a bit (and were vid inclined) that song could be angsty!Shep/Weir material.
Oh, and in case I'm hallucinating the song is SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT by Corey Hart. Lyrics are at http://ntl.matrix.com.br/pfilho/html/lyrics/s/sunglasses_at_night.txt. So. Yeah. Rodney is so hot.
Love;
Caitlin
