bit by bit this week, i've been building a box for the plumbing downstairs. got my lumber the other day, got the base all laid out thanks to some frighteningly strong glue, and got the vertical supports in place. last night, the snow kept us indoors for most of the day, so we were without drywall until this afternoon. a few hours of work (and some sweet dremel action) and we got all the drywall cut and shaped, ready to go, only to find out that my cordless drill's battery is toast. blaaaaaargh. something for tomorrow, then! and that does mean that i'm done for the night with that project. eh, we'll get it completed at some point. we're just taking our time, like with most things in life. or something like that.
