I woke up this morning glad of the fact that I had plenty of time before I had to leave for uni because of my first lecture being cancelled, because it was so cold that I just wanted to stay in bed. (Though my dad burst in and had an 'OMG what are you still doing in bed??' moment

Thanks, I think I should be getting the results sometime during the week. I just want to do good on it, even though it's not one of the important tests. But not doing horribly would be nice, heh.

What else are you taking in university? Other than what seems like a lot of calculus...

Hehe. Well you were half right

I'm studying games software development. The main thing we're doing with that right now is learning Java. And the lectures for Programming can be a little random - from studying lines of coding, to playing cards (apparently a 'fair play' game experiment or something...)
We also have to take a calculus module (arghhh) and they like to give us lots of tests heh.
I also have to do modules in Personal Development Planning - all about studying, learning methods, etc, and Professional Issues which is like all the ethical/legal stuff related to computing.

I do complain about the calculus a lot :p

Wow. That’s a lot of stuff you have to do in order to study games software development. Besides the calculus, is the rest of it interesting? Are you enjoying the other classes?

I know, and apparently the calculus is hugely important.

The PDP/Professional Issues can be painfully boring, and the projects stress me out lol. But overall I'm really liking it thanks :)

I think we have another programming project coming up *shudder* But it involves creating robots to battle, so it should be interesting heh.

Huh, I wouldn't of thought that calculus would be so important. I'm glad that you like it overall. I'm dreading going to university because I know I'm going to take some really boring and/or hard classes.

I was thinking of either going in to business or engineering. I kind of want to go study engineering but it's supposed to be a really hard course, and I don't know how well I'd do in it. And I don’t even know why I want to go in to business…but if I can’t think of anything else, that’s probably what I’m going to do.
