I think I might be buying a house!
My dad and I were looking for rentals this morning when we came across a friend of his who is trying to sell a house. He is willing to put it through a real estate contract through Escrow which means that I won't have to get a loan. It's a small house and it needs some work, but he's only asking $20,000 for it. I'll be able to get it for $1,000 down and about $300 a month. Let's hope everything works out well.
