Oh, by the way, for any interested readers who might see me more as just a taxi/ATM in a 50 year old body (which Zero called fat recently, thanks a lot, son!) Zero did not get me a ....p...r....e... p...r....e..... pr.....es..... well, you can guess, for my birthday. Not even a card! That was even though I took him to Walgreen's so he could get some hair dye. He's into this hair dye rut.
I was kind of p....e....e....v...e...d about this. You see, my parents passed away before I was 40, and an old friend died in 2002, and for the last ten years, the birthdays have been lonely. They got worse after my friend died, and another one of my friends died about a week ago. I didn't want to burden Zero with a stepdad, so I'm a lone parent, (of course, in his and Mari's opinion, that was probably an improbability because I am SUCH A HORRIBLE awful person, lol, and your little dog too, yada, yada, yada). Like I care. I'M not the one standing in doorways blowing smoke in people's faces and breaking the 30 (or is it 20?) foot rule. But I digress, which I would rather do than contemplate not getting a present; but the simple fact of the matter is, it was more important to assemble the accoutrements of this par-TAY tonight than it was to get me a present, or even....
BEWARE if you are ever taken for granted by Zero. Because if you are, he will not even get you a c... (muffled sob) a c..... (even if you lend him a C note) a c....a....r...(even if he damages the hell out of your CAR, leaving red, white and blue streaks on it from scratched off plastic and paint, just in time for July 4th [and then he won't even go to the fireworks with you {how rude is that????} even though it's really not safe for women alone at night, not with the 30 armed robberies and home invasions Natomas had just in June alone!!] because as long as your car is driveable, it shouldn't matter that you didn't get a......) CARD!!!
