(no subject)
And with that I say: I am still alive! Yes, I know I haven't posted in this thing in... months? Mebbe... a month and a bit? But I am still existing! Summer has caused all my brain cells to pack up and leave, and so I haven't had anything interesting to write since at least after my birthday, which was longtimeago. Thank you to those people who said happy birthday to me! So, a brief summary of my life that you've all missed (XD):
- Anime North: If I'd been well, this would have been a blast. Sadly, I was sick with a stomach bug on Friday, and sick still on Saturday but I went anyways and spent my time either in bed upstairs or curled up in the corner in the Yaoi North room. The Yaoi North part was what kept me alive that day, so thank you Matt and all those yaoi fan girls who hailed my father as the best dad in the world for sitting with me in the yaoi panels. You made my day. I would have eaten the free donut I got for having a super awesome dad, but I felt sick so I didn't want anything. Aaaand... Sunday I couldn't even walk without feeling sick so I had to go home. So much for THAT.
- Exams were pretty cool. Nothing was too hard (though I dunno how I did on my French exam. >___>) and I have a good feeling about the Bio and Math exam.
- Japan trip coming up soon (July 28th-August... 15th I believe). Six girls (including me) going to Japan, none of us with more than level two Japanese and our partners with nothing more than level two English. Can you say language barrier? XD The more I think about it, the more I think I'm going to my doom. It's going to be reeeally humid over there, there's huge bugs and I have to watch what I wear because of the perverted men. I'm sticking close to Courtney who looks butch. I'm hoping they think she's a guy, so I'll be safe. >__> I'm just hoping the twelve year old doesn't get kidnapped or something.
In other news, Kingdom Hearts II has consumed all my attention due to the adorableness of Sora, and I'm working three days a week at the barn (7 year old kids... *nervous twitch*).
