ZOMG indeed. It's the second reason why I haven't been on in like... years it seems. (The first was that it was the week of hell where teachers threw projects and tests in my face). But that's like... over and done with. So whatever. I shall tell you the more interesting story of Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel for PS2.
My dad bought it for me ages ago. I opened it, looked at it, and then read the instruction manual. The instruction manual made it look so crazy hard I decided I would play it... later. XD So it got shoved in a pile. Recently, I found it again, and decided to give it a shot. It is the BEST and MOST ADDICTIVE GAME EVER! You get to be Ed! You get to insult people! You get to blow things up! You get to transmute stuff! You get to beat the crap out of punks who think they're better than you! It's so great. You also get to pwn other wannabe-alchemists with your mad skills. Like I said, it's great.
However, from playing this game, I've realize that I wasted about $30 on the FMA DVDs that I bought a while back. I mean, I realized they were crap before, but I was so desperate to get my hands on SOMETHING that it really didn't matter. My first clue was the fact that not only did they cut the first four episodes, they'd also labled the discs wrong, so disc one was actually disc two. Disc one (the REAL disc one) actually followed a storyline, and was decently subtitled. It was alright. Disc two, on the other hand, has episodes from part FIVE, wouldn't play one episode, had shitty subtitling and there was absolutely no storyline. How do I know where the episodes came from? Because they had part five at the video store and I rented it. It was then that I went "Hey... I've seen this episode before... on my part one dvd. o_O;;" So yeah... a complete waste of $30 right there. I bought part one. If I'd wanted one episode of part 3, two of part five and possibly that spare episode from 7, I would have BOUGHT those parts. JEEZE. Stupid DVD peoples. It's now in the same league as all that Hunter x Hunter I bought that was subtitled so poorly that when it got into the later episodes you couldn't even understand what was being said because the translations were just a bunch of random words thrown together. Urg.
But, back to FMA and the Broken Angel. It's the reason for my absense... and it will probably be why I'm not around much. It's addictive. XD
