reposting.... please help deep roots if you can!
With the closing of the Marion-Grant County animal shelter, hundreds of animals faced certain death. Organizations around the country teamed up to find homes for all of those animals. With only a day left before the last transport vehicle left the premises, only fifteen cats remained. Deep Roots decided to step up and take on the remaining cats to help create a rare success story where all the animals found new homes.
However, the new cat center cannot be run with only a few people. We need help in many ways and due to the last minute nature of this action, we need help now. To care for these cats, we must raise more than $6200 in the next couple of weeks. We also need volunteers to help care for and clean up after the cats. We could use donations such as food, litter, cats beds and toys. And all of the cats still need to find forever homes. So if you are looking for a little extra love and warmth in your life, consider adopting from us.
