Believe me it helps to watch the first Underworld Movie to fully grasp the story. But if you want action and some plot, you can watch the sequel and understand the gist of what's going down with Vampires and Lycan (Werewolves)
I don't want to ruin the movie(s) for those who have not seen either movie. So I'll be brief...if you have seen the first movie then every main character involved lives.
But the plot and theme of Underworld is expanded and history is given.
All in all, without revealing too much of the movie to you folks.
I thought it was a good action flick, but the ending is a rather flat souffle...But it does allow for a third move.
