Well, wasn't supporting either team at first, but in the end I'm glad Italy won. At least I won't hafta hear me dad go 'I told you so!' a few hunderd times now that France didn't win :). And Pirlo/Cannavaro is totally <3!
Strange final, it was. Didn't quite expect so much drama.
Very, very disappointed with Zizou. For someone so experienced, he really should have known better. And he was one of the few French players that I actually liked and respected. It's so sad that he had to end his illustrious career in such fashion. Now he'll always be remembered for that headbutt. *sigh*
Aw, so that's the end of WC06. In a way I'm glad it's over. Been a major distraction for me but like how can you not watch the WC! Can concentrate on studying for exams now. Till the EPL season starts at least. Ugh, trials in less than a month and I'm so not prepared.. :(
