Update!
I haven't been here in forever, so hello again to all you people that still choose to stalk via LJ rather than Facebook. Personally, I like LJ a million times better.
Anyhow, quick list of things that have changed since my last update...
-We adopted a puppy! She is almost 9 months old now (we got her about 6 weeks ago), and is a boxer/lab mix. Brindle color, boxer shape, but a bit of a lab face. Several people have sworn she looks like a pit bull but they are wrong. We named her Jamie Duke (tribute to where Adam and I met), and she is fanTASTic.
-I applied to PA school... and did not get in. My own fault though for sending my apps late, so I am reapplying for next fall. This year would have been too crazy anyway, so it's probably a good thing.
-My family went insane. More than ever before. Suddenly all my free time was given to being with or worrying about my family, so my social life disappeared. I am working on building that back up and am starting tomorrow with getting coffee with someone I really like but see/talk to very very rarely.
-My hair is really really curly and long.
-We had our 1st wedding anniversary! It was a really tough year for a variety of reasons (among them, my insane family), but every day I love him more and more and more. I can't put into words how overwhelming it is sometimes. I am reminded of the phrase they repeat in Moulin Rouge... "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return." How true. =)
-I learned to make beer! And have also learned more about wine tasting.
-aaaaaaaand my life is busier than that so i gg now. I will update again soon with like, real stuff!
