"Residence" Evil

Nov 30, 2007 08:12

Apparently if you come to a state and go to college full time you are coming to the state just to go to school and you have to pay out of state tuition, until a year of your residing in the state. Unless the college has UNDENIABLE PROOF (which is nothing) that you are trying to become a resident just so that you can go to school with a lower tuition rate. GASP!

At PNC the Registrar won't let me change my status to "Resident of the State of Indiana" even though I'll have been attending PNC an entire year by December 12th, and the reasons for my change of address were to get away from my parents and to live with Kelly, whom I'm going to be married to soon (which that isn't strong enough evidence to say I'm not living in Indiana just for PNC). My apartment is not a dorm. I don't live on campus...*sigh*

This is frustrating, shoot me with some comment.
