I have a zine.

Hello, whoever reads this thing still/sometimes. I recently made my first zine and I really want to get it out to the world. Despite everything, I know quite a bit of people read this thing sometimes or all the time.

I've given away a bunch of these already (about twenty or so) for free and one person gave me $1 one time (thanks, Steve Layman!). After spending over $60 on printing fifty copies of it and painstakingly cutting over 600 pieces of paper to put them all together (with some help from Kara one night), I figured it'd make sense to maybe try to sell them, at the least to make up for printing and mailing costs. I know most of you will never/would never want one of these, let alone pay for one, but just in case, I figured I'd mention it here...

This is my first zine, Discomfort, created 6/17/10.
100% DIY, black+white, forty-four pages, pocket-size, bound with a rubber band, $1.50+50¢ shipping.

You can now order a copy from my Etsy page by clicking on the image above.
It's only $2 and that money goes towards the printing/mailing costs.
I accept PayPal, money orders (though those would be lame), or just send me $2 cash and I'll mail it to you.
They will be sent out the day you order one, in a homemade envelope, with a love letter from me to you because I'm so excited and happy that someone (you, whoever you are) wanted one!

Those of you who I already promised a free copy: you're still getting it, for free, because I keep promises. Thanks for being the first people to actually want one of these. Words cannot articulate how flattered and thankful I am.

Issue two is being worked on. While the first issue revolves around Schenectady and the immobilizing hopelessness that comes with living here, the second one will be a collection of stories from my year of going to Denny's every single night.
