What a wonderful weekend!

Damn wonderful weekend.
Technically the weekend starts Friday night right after work in my book.

Accomplishment!
I left work that night quite late because I had to get picked up and get my car (which in just one day I missed horribly). Even though I didn’t get to work for two days prior I got done everything I wanted to as I left the building.

Correct Priorities!
Once home I grabbed some lunchmeat and a couple slices of bread, called it dinner, and left for Amy’s level pre-test. I was a bit upset that I missed the sword demo, but I liked the extra smiles I put on faces when they saw that I decided not to party and support one of my dearest friends ever.

Happiness!
From there was Denny’s. My hyper enthusiasm and happiness was apparent. I guess my mood could be considered no less than bouncy. Quite possibly had to do with the past couple days, yeah, I’d say.

Learning experiences!
Right after was Erin’s party…yeah they weren’t kidding about Claritin D and crap loads of vodka were they. Hmmmm…double vision anyone? No more drinking for James for a little while, that was just scary.

Embarrassment!
I did THAT! Seriously? NO! yes? …I’m so sorry :(

Humor!
He’s apologizing to her breasts!

Friendship!
Annaliese and I talking that night. It wasn’t my state of mind, but my state of heart that I let out so much that night. Thanks for listening.

Connection!
I woke up the next day as right as rain, refused to take my Claritin, and mowed the lawn. When my father came home from work I went with him on a couple errands. It always amazes me on how similar we are and how easily we understand each other.

Wonder!
Think Coyote Ugly…make the bar a glass deli display, turn down music, and make the girls into guys selling meat. The place filled with people (screaming fire code violation) all gather around the six attendants happily, quickly, and skillfully taking orders left and right. Picked up four amazing steaks at and amazing price, which I grilled up perfectly…damn that was good.

Self!
I don't want to go partying again today. I don't want to go to a club! So I won't!

Family!
“James, we aren’t upset about the ticket…shit happens to all of us…we a just upset that you didn’t tell us so we could help you. Try seeing your Uncle Mike, he’ll take care of you.”
His response:
“I’ll see what I can do about making this F***er not show up to court. I’ll meet you there either way as well”

Romance!
We drove all the way to Angola so I could show her the most impressive display of the stars that I know of. After three minutes of looking up to the sky, her eyes laid back on me and never left through the entire night. I wished time would freeze as I melted in her arms.

Careless Adventure!
Rolling down hills and driving around Chestnut Ridge looking for an open shelter.

Togetherness!
Being around all my friends who I love so much.

Strength!
I think the best play was when Matt, Kevin, and Lyle were all on James and he was STILL running down the field.

Good Pain!
A bruise on my right leg (damn keys in my pocket), a brush burn on my left shoulder, a few scratches, a rash from the grass on my back, finally I dislodged that pain in my side when I got home…a very sizable bee stinger. The signs of one Hell of a good game.

Goofiness!
I hide. Okay, I hide as well. What are you hiding from? The darkness! Do I see him? No. Do I see you? No. My character is cracking up. Wait…can I hear him? Now lets go wander around and kill stuff for the day. Why? I want experience! WHERE’S THE MOUNTAIN DEW!

Fear!
I arrived home with one of my most horrid headaches. My mother stood at the door. She looked like she was crying. “What’s wrong?” “Your grandfather is missing…”

Relief!
“He came back home”

Relaxation!
A few hours of gaming before bed.

Sleeplessness!
Thinking about how wonderful this weekend was, and how I was going to top it.
