Fuck,seeing all their faces makes everything worse...I can't understand Yuuki,seriously. I know they're vampires etc etc but it's disgusting seeing such a couple anyway. I also think it's not a good example for young minds. Girls should not stand and try to help their partners no matter what,you know? He killed people and literally played with the life of a friend she knew for her entire life and she just keeps on finding excuses? At this point I don't even bother,really. When she'll find him I bet my ass she will just listen to him and won't even be mad at him for half second. And of course, since he'll explain to her that this was all for her safety since he loves her soooo much she's not going to be anything else but supportive.
Poor Zero,seriously.I think he should love someone else.It makes too much sense for this manga falling in love with the person you've known for your entire life,loool. Better off loving a person you clearly never knew all along and that turned out to be a manipulative serial killer as long as it's for your safety things won't ever get creepy,~ that's true love for you.
Is it still successful? Honestly I've stopped caring right after Yuuki became a vampire...I can't imagine a fandom being so loyal all these years when things proceed so slow all the time.

I think Kaname and Yuuki's relationship has gotten repetitive and predictable hasn't it??
I don't think Zero should fall in love with someone else, it doesn't resolve anything. I think he needs closure, which he tried to have, saying "he kissed Yuuki's corpse the day Ichiru died as a way to say goodbye to the Yuuki he knew",but after seeing her again and they way she still acted and looked him was the same, he is confused and troubled about it, so he focus on his mission of killing Kaname for all the things he has done.So I think closure and forgiving Yuuki will bring him peace.

And Yuuki and Kaname's relationship was skipped one year, and so we could be back on track on Yuuki pinning on Zero, Kaname being all mysterious, then to Kaname leaving Yuuki and she re-opening the night class, which brings us back to the start. I don't mind vampire!Yuuki, I think she is , more mature, in some ways,darker, and cold. She is well aware nothing can be ever be the same. and I do believe she was happier as a human ,"ignorance is bliss"; she seems sad all the time with her being a vampire, even when she lived with Kaname, she was just sad... The fandom went down, like a lot, still vampire_knight is pretty active , but not as it was before, I'm out of the fandom, but I do read the manga, but I don't expected as much as I did 2 years ago, when waiting for next was agony, now the cliff hangers the mangaka leaves gives me nothing, like "bleh, we will find out later" ,since as you said, things go so very slow and in circles

You're so right, never seen it that way. But I do think Kaname knows Yuuki too well, that's why he is always one stpe ahead of her, Yuuki on the other hand knows so little about him.Now that you pput it that way, not sure if Yuuki is even "in love" with Kaname, maybe she just loves him and pity him, I dunno... And , yes, i think Hino Matsuri wrote that way on purpose, if not, wtf. I think Matsuri-san did it on purpose since the main paring is always ambiguous.

Back then she just wanted to be in Zero's arms and devour him. I hated how Kaname punished Yuuki because of that, but i'll not talk about it,hahaha.
I know it seems like Kaname knows her too well,but it buggers me the same,since,you know,he doesn't actually,it's not like they had the time. He seems to know her like he knows everybody else. He can easily predict everybody's moves,it's not really a big deal for him.

Well Kaname did have the time to know Yuki, he grown up with her,then he took care of her when she was human, though he did spend little time with her during her teen years, thanks to Zero XD In all fairness, Yuki did surprised Kaname when he found out Yuki "loved" Zero as much as he loved Kaname.
that punishment was meant to be fan service, maybe, vampire going all S/M , its most likely Matsuri wanted to go all kinky with the characters, tells a lot of the vampire nature.
