(no subject)
Just a quick update. Yes, still living in the land of the Never-ending Winter. It is like early March here in Toronto. Grey flat depressing sky. Rain and threats of snow. The buds are trying to come out on the trees. There are still crocuses. I'm wavering between being horrifically depressed over it and resigned. It puts TheBad into a not-happy state as well.
I'm sore from the gym. I added weights to my cardio - which since I blew out my knee last summer - has mostly been reclining bike. I've suddenly become one of those freaks people who are using weights while on machines. Its made a colossal difference. I've not lost a pound in 8 mths (in fact, gained 2 and just lost them) but the pounds that I have HURT. Oh hurrah!
Tomorrow we're going to see a movie called Fido. A Canadian zombie film that won't be out in the US til June. Its going to be playing at the local Review theatre - the newly revamped Royal Theatre. Although it's been open for a while we've not really gone to catch any of the movies there due mostly to time conflicts. They're going to be showing a lot of documentaries there and a fair amount of alternative films.
Not much else going on. Our home internet connection has been wack. Nothing seems to help. Connection will be fine until the wind blows or someone sneezes or the cat meows and then it will drop. I also found 4 emails that gmail conveniently saved TO DRAFT in my gmail when the connection flapped. hahaa. the jokes on me, since I thought I answered them - so Rain - I'll have to resend you a more current answer. I hope you've not been waiting with held breath for my reply, cause you would have passed out a week plus ago.
