so, as i mentioned on
the_cat_saysmy Mom called and wants a cat.
You really could have knocked me over. I don't think Mom's shocked me that much since she dropped me on the head when i was a baby. The thought of Mom with a cat leaves me a bit surprised.. as I didn't think she was fond of them at all. The Cat of course probably knows better, and he's always happy to see her. So, there might be a visit in the future to one of the foster homes of the people who work with
The Annex Cat Rescue Mom says she wants a kitten. Those ever-so-cute little kittens! sigh
Mom in the meantime had a wish-list of cat traits that were kind of cute. I have to wonder if she had the same wish-list for us as children:
I want: babies-that-don't-cry-too-much-with-great-health-that-don't-run-too-fast-and-are-going-to-grow-up-fast-and-become-doctors.
I'm more determined to say, takle this in a more logical fashion. I've asked R. and E. for advice as well as Cin. The Husband of course knows more about the average cat then just about anyone i know. and he knows my mom too. Although she might say she wants a kitten, I wonder if she has any idea of the energy and a kitten has. The Annex Cat Rescue people at least have been given a heads up email so perhaps they will be slightly forwarned of what might come their way.
we shall see if there will be another Cat in(directly) in my life.
