Names.
Got a lot of lovely name help from smurdlad tonight. Thank you dear. You're a gem. :)
These were my faves out of what she gave me.
The ladies:
Venetia
I also liked Oriana, but it wouldn't fit the character because it means 'blonde.'
The guys:
Adair (dunno why...it just stuck out to me)
Bevyn (means 'young soldier')
Cadell (just sounds sexy)
Cathaoir (means 'fighter')
Devyn (it's just a hott name)
Emrys (dunno why I like this one. I dunno if it would fit the character, but its meaning sure would fit the plot)
Torrey (but I don't know why...)
And Bricriu means 'poison-tongued'. As smurdlad said, it's screaming to be used as a name for a villain.
And the reason there's more guys than girls is simple. They're guys! As Angi randomly said the other night: Guys are hott!
So if you like any of these, please say which ones and why if you have the time. And terrylj, if you have any suggestions of your own, now would be the time to throw them out. :)
