Just a short thing for the challenge on andylovesjoe.

It had been snowing all the night before and the Fall Out Boy boy's were outside making the best out of the fresh powder. All of them except for Andy. Andy didn't like snow.

Andy sat safely under the cover of the porch watching his band mates play happily in the snow. He smiled as Joe tackled Patrick back into the snow, making Patrick squeal with laughter. Pete was standing back, laughing like a lunatic before he dived on top of Patrick and Joe, making a pile up.

Joe managed to squirm free of the tangle of limbs, standing and dusting himself off before smiling up at Andy in turn. Andy looked away from Joe to watch Pete wrestle with Patrick, who was rather desperately trying to stand back up to no avail. Finally, Patrick managed to push Pete away and Pete stood up, offering Patrick a hand. Patrick took the hand, but just pulled Pete back down before scrambling up himself and scampering away. Pete looked kind of stunned for a moment before he jumped back up and took off after Patrick, running around the back of the house and out of sight.

"You should come join us. It's fun."

Andy startled a little at Joe's soft voice and looked up at the younger guitarist with a small grin. "It looks it..."

Joe tilted his head. He wasn't always the most perceptive or bright of people but he could tell something was bugging Andy. "Hey, what's up?"

Andy shook his head and gave a half-shrug. "Nothing. I've just never been very fond of snow. It's too cold and wet for me."

"Oh..." Joe nodded slowly. "Okay then..."

Joe wandered back out into the snow, Andy hugging himself slightly against the cold. He turned when he heard a yelp from Patrick, but his momentary distraction was his down fall as he was suddenly struck in the chest with a snowball. He spluttered, dusting himself off and looking down at Joe. Joe smiled brightly before throwing the snowball he had clutched in his other hand. That one only hit Andy in the stomach, but then Andy was on his feet.

"Oh yeah? If that's the way you want it!" He declared, jumping down into the snow. He grabbed a handful of snow and pelting at Joe's head. Joe skilfully dodged it, laughing and trying to aqquire some more snow to make a return. They exchanged a few snowballs until Andy tried to deflect one with his hand and gave a yelp of pain.

"What happened?" Joe wondered, stepping closer, eyeing Andy cautiously. Andy looked down at his hand.

"I hurt my hand." He replied obviously. Joe tsked quietly in sympathy, taking up Andy's hand gently and pressed a light kiss to the reddened knuckles. Andy seemed kind of surprised by the gesture at first before he smirk and smushed some snow into Joe's hair. Joe gave a cry and leapt away.

"Cheater!" He howled while Andy laughed at his own ruse. Joe ran around the side of the porch, crouching to put together something of an arsenal while Andy stumbled around out in the open. But it seemed Andy had other ideas as he jumped around to where Joe was hiding, looming over the crouching Joe and catching him fair in the face with a snowball. Joe tumbled backwards, mouth and nose full of snow, blinded by it. He rubbed his face with a gloved hand and blinked dazedly up at the grinning drummer.

"Ow, man." Joe muttered and the grin faded from Andy's face. He quickly dropped to his knees, leaning over Joe with a look of concern.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?" He whispered. "This is why I don't like snow..."

"Calm down. I'm fine... just... That was an awesome shot, man." Joe grinned and Andy's mouth twitched a little in a small smile of pride. He was still leaning over Joe, who was sprawled on his back in the snow, and suddenly Joe leaned up. He stopped just shy of kissing Andy's mouth and Andy let out a shaky breath but didn't pull away before Joe's lips were pressed to his. Andy was still frozen, his eyes shut, lips slightly parted as Joe lent away and smiled at him again. "Still with me?"

"Y-yeah..." Andy nodded. "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Kinda cold and wet, but physically I think." Joe agreed and Andy climbed to his feet, pulling Joe with him.

"Maybe we should go inside and get out of these wet clothes before we get sick?" Andy suggested hesitantly and Joe grinned.

"Sounds like a good idea to me." He agreed, still holding Andy's chilled bare hand in his own gloved one. He leaned in to peck Andy on the mouth again before leading him into the house. Once they had closed the door, leaving the cold winter afternoon behind them, Joe gently helped Andy get his coat of, before sliding off his own and pulling Andy into a hug. Andy rested his head against Joe's chest, uncertain of what they were doing, exactly, but enjoying it none the less. Suddenly, their silent cuddling was interrupted by a soft thump and a moan from upstairs. They both looked up at the ceiling while Joe murmured,

"Seems like Patrick and Pete had a similar idea..."

He looked back down at Andy and whispered, "Come to bed with me?"

Andy nodded, taking Joe's hand again and blithely following the guitarist upstairs.

As they lay in each other's arms afterwards, the noises from the next room also having subsided, Joe asked softly.

"Feeling any better about snow now?"

Andy laughed against Joe's bare chest. "I think I'll be just fine with snow from now on as long as I have someone to warm me up afterwards..."

"I'd be glad to help you with that." Joe offered and Andy laughed again, snuggling closer and settling down into comfortable silence, not noticing as a fresh lot of snow started to fall outside.
