Oh, that is quite lovely. I love how those alternative timelines all become a swirl where the Master and the Doctor blend together and you can't tell which is which. Because that's just how intertwined they are. Good stuff.

Thank you :)! At first I didn't mean for them to blend together, at least not that much, I wanted to differentiate between them, but that just wouldn't work. Intertwined, indeed. I'd like to think they wouldn't be themselves without each other.

I'm trying to find words so that this comment isn't overtaken by a bunch of flailing. (It could easily be, on the account of 1. how tired I am and 2. how awesome this is.) It's so well-crafted. I love the "repetition" of the two parts that isn't really repetition, but a slight twisting, a slight deviation of the part that came before it.

I particularly loved the image of this: He stands in front of the Untempered Schism and finds himself holding three timelines in his hand; he follows them and finds that the other boy is holding them too.

Such a lovely piece. So much can be said in few words.

Thank you :)! The idea with the repetition only came, after I tried to write completely different point of views and timelines for them, but that didn't work, so I tried it with the not so quite repetition, which worked so much better.

It's interesting and nice to know that you liked the sentence best, which I probably was most insecure with, as I wasn't too sure about the sentence structure and if it would destroy the image I wanted, rather than create it.

And yes so much can be said in few words, but finding these words...

Oh and can I say it? I love your icon.

I can't find words to do this one justice, either. This is very very good. *hugs both the baby!Time Lords*

Thank you :)! I think they could both need a hug, especially the Master. Although judging from his reaction to the hug from the Doctor...oh whatever *hugs them, too*.

I can only echo what snowgrouse, shinodabear and skipthedemon said, really. I'm glad it wasn't just me who wasn't sure who was who at times. But they are two sides of the same coin, aren't they, so it makes perfect sense. Lovely. Oh, and very sad!

Thank you :)! I swear, when I started to write it, I had a plan to make them look more separated, but that all went to hell during writing and I am quite glad it did, because they are two sides of the same coin.

Very, very nice. The way you have the two of them crossing and melding and separating out again is very imaginative. (Here from best_enemies, for your info).

(Here from best_enemies, for your info), thought so ;), I've been seeing you around there a lot. Thank you again for your comment :)!

And, nah, not so imaginative, rather the result of my somewhat over-active fantasy and my self-critical side.
