I s'pose it's about time for an update:
I am currently living on Capitol Hill for the summer (which is in Seattle, for those of you who don't know). It's a *nice* studio apartment for sure, and it's the basement (which has different connotations for those of you in suburbia) so it doesn't get hot at all; very temperate. Some drawbacks: No hood vent over the stove, so I always take down the smoke alarms when I cook just in case it smells smoke (even when nothing is burning). Also, only 2 of the windows open and one of them is just because I forced it too. No roommates is kinda teh suxors as I get bored very quickly, so I usually play the guitar and watch the simpsons on my new dvd player that I got for 25 bucks (thanks for the best buy gift card vedran!). More often than not I go over to the girl's apartment to chill, which reminds me I need to get the pic I took of them. The surrounding houses are gorgeous, everybody is a fan of that (especially when you see a brand new black maserati roar past your first 5 minutes here). And if you thought SUVs were bad in Bellingham, there are just as many here. Fewer lifted 4runners and more X5s though. Saw 2 Shelby cobras, too.
But I digress. I was just about to make some pancakes, as Krusteaz pancake mix is the only thing that counts as real food (okay, maybe not) here besides tortillas, sharp chedder cheese, a bag of chocolate chips and a can of mountain dew. Life as a swingin' bachelor is sweeeet.
