Officially, the script to chapter one is good and done. Unofficially, it's not the final version that's going to be illustrated.
There were some dialogue issues with Dyne, his speech patterns were somewhat too similar to Chiaki. Of course the character's more of an harassed elitist than anything else, so if he sounds like a 14 year old school bully then you're going to have problems. The thing of the script at this point is that the chapters have to be refined enough so that by the time I'm illustrating it, I have a clear picture of how everything's going to be. Incidentally, I took a look at the date I began writing chapter 1 and was surprised to find that it's been almost a year since I started.
Finally got around to drawing the Professor character. I did a double take when I realized that he sort of looked like John Lennon only with less of a mullet. Giggled for a minute and started drawing the fuku.
Now the tricky part about designing a fuku is to make sure it looks nothing like the Sailor Scouts,' even though this story sort of is a Sailor Moon parody.
And I still have to design like six more magical girls to throw in the mix. Damn.
