Yet another brilliant shortfic by Otterkiss while I wasn't looking. Yay for more Japanese NC-17! This one's hot, sweet, poignant... and Tomo is right: the prose is just beautiful. I didn't know a sex scene could sound so -- so -- I don't know, poetic. And what makes it even better? This Fraser. Is. So. Fucked up!

Oh my god. It verges on my squick line -- hell, usually the next sentence would have been past the line for me (powerplay usually squicks me senseless!) but somehow, here, it works. She makes it work. I think it has to do with Ray seeing Fraser as perfect, maybe? Ah, my mind is a puddle of goo right now so I can't hope to be coherent.
Well, but then I never thought I'd buy it when she eroticized the car... So. Hands down. That lady can sell me *anything.*
It's called "Body and Soul" -- and no, it's not in English. Sorry. I'm just too happy not to gloat. Really, with such wonderful authors as her and Matsutakedo and Tomo, LCV is looking more and more like an actual archive. Yay for writers!
New Years resolution #9: now if we could just convince that *other* proficient writer to write more slash than gen this year... Because she's so good at it, isn't she!? ::blink blink::

Apologies for ignoring Santa's and Tomo's BBS lately -- ack, come to think of it I've been away from even DSR these days, haven't I? I'm very sorry, guys. Sakana, being a fish, has next to no attention span... (Well, DSR was always meant as a free playground where anybody can come in and talk as they wish, so I guess folks can go on freely. Just, when anybody needs me for admin-type things and I'm being too distracted to realize, please drop me a line to let me know!)
