So I finally have mostly finished my dream of turning my entire library of CD's into MP3s. I probably have like 50-60 cds left but those aren't convienently located in any cd binder might be too much trouble. Anyway my music collection now resides as about 30GB on an external hard drive. So the other day I lent my music to a friend and he lent me part of his collection (According to Chris he has a drawer full of internal HD's filled with MP3s)
Anyway I have this now at work and I should finish listening to his collection in 585 hours or so. Or sometime next spring assuming no repeats on my randomizer. Other possibly too much of the Beastie Boys I have probably never heard of 35% of the music. And it is very wierd but fun having all this music on random
Recent song history:
Supervixen - Garbage
Entre ciel et terre - Uzeb
There In the Silence - Savatage
Something in the Chimney and I don't know what it is - Funny Christmas Songs
Battle Against Clown - Geinoh Yamashirogumi
* - Before you go on about pirating music is bad. I believe everything here is legal all nicely put into 1 directory per CD not just a bunch of napstered songs that are obviously pirated. And it is legal to lend someone a CD so lending a HD full of music is legal as well (as long as I give it back).
