Happier
I'm in a much better mood than I was the last time I posted. I don't know why, but I was feeling much better already on Wednesday morning. It's grey and rainy outside but I don't mind that much. I find that grey weather rather beautiful. It gives everything a mysterious air.
To celebrate my good mood I decided to use my other userpic with my hero Robert Falcon Scott. I've been reading books about polar exploration since I was a teenager and wrote my final essay for a BA in English about Scott. I compared two books about him; Roland Huntford's very critical book "Scott and Amundsen" and Ranulph Fiennes' much more positve book "Captain Scott".
I like Scott because he is described in a way that reminds me of myself. He was prone to depression (me too), he was lazy (me too) and he was basically nice but had a quick temper (me too).
I'm still struggling with that mIRC manual. I must take my time and learn it.
